Ministry: Russia’s agricultural exports at $25.5 bln in 2019
MOSCOW, Mar 4 (PRIME) -- Russia’s 2020 agricultural exports are likely to amount to U.S.$25 billion after $25.5 billion in 2019, the Agriculture Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev met with the authorities of Russian regions, assessing their work in achieving goals of exports of agricultural products, and stated goals for 2020 and the following years.
“The minister pointed out that results of the previous year showed that agricultural exports stood at $25.5 billion, while the plan was $24 billion…This year, Russia should export $25 billion worth of agricultural products and foods, and the main guidance is exports of $45 billion in 2024,” the ministry said.
